In Fiscal Year 2019, CDC awarded cooperative agreement CDC-RFA-CK19-1905, National Infection Control Strengthening. A project funded under this cooperative agreement aimed to develop tools and resources for healthcare facilities to implement infection prevention and control (IPC) when adapting existing spaces or creating new spaces and supporting IPC workflows. In Fiscals Years 2020 and 2021, supplemental funding provided to CDC to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic supported expansion of this work, including partnership with CDC’s Project Firstline.
